We love the story about how Ansel got connected with Cynthia of Cynthia Viola Photography, and you will too! Cynthia was photographing a wedding and found herself seated next to Ansel. The two quickly got to talking and easily became friends, they shared a lot of laughter together that night while he spent time with the other guests at the table & Cynthia spent time working and stopping back by her seat from time to time. During the months following that wedding the two would exchange facebook messages talking about photography. One day Ansel told Cynthia that he was planning to propose & the two hatched a plan that was guaranteed to surprise Allie!

The proposal plans began when Ansel announced to Allie that they have won a free photo session. Naturally, she didn’t think anything of it & was excited for their spring photoshoot in the Blue Ridge Mountains. They hiked up Carvers Gap to the perfect spot & Cynthia told Allie she needed a few headshots just of her. Little did Allie know, this was the queue for Ansel to kneel. When she turned around to face him he was asking for her hand in marriage. The photos clearly speak for themselves on her elated reaction of shock and joy. Cynthia captured the emotions in this moment for them to never forget. Plus, can we talk about that jaw dropping view of the Blue Ridge Mountains!
