Pi Beta Phi – Arizona Gamma Chapter| Senior 2017

We’re with the Arizona Gamma Chapter of Pi Beta Phi today with graduating senior, Devin! Devin initiated into Pi Beta Phi in 2013 during her freshman year at the school, which means she got to experience all 4 years as a collegiate! She found an uplifting support system away from home that she wanted to be a part of, to grow relationships with and bond together with the sisters to effect their local community. Devin attended school for Strategic Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations and Merchandising. While involved in her sorority she also was asked to join the Order of Omega for her academic excellence. and involvement on campus and within her sorority house, where she served as the Vice President of Fraternity Development.

During her time as a collegiate, Devin had the opportunity to attend the Pi Beta Phi Convention which was held in Chicago. She was surrounded by over 1,000 Pi Phi sisters from around the country. If you haven’t had the opportunity to attend your sororities convention, add it to your bucket list. Now. Like right now. There is nothing quite like the energy and experience at a sorority convention. It creates a deeper bond and connection between you and your organization and sisterhood. This is exactly the impression that Devin felt during her time at the convention, this impacted her & ultimately was her favorite collegiate sorority memory.

The Arizona chapter has been nationally recognized by their headquarters for Excellence in Communication as well as Excellence in Community Service & Philanthropy Projects. The ladies at NAU hold several charity events during the year, but one of their favorites (which also happens to be Devin’s favorite too!) is Arrow Spike. Because, seriously, with a name like that, how could it not be the most fun event of the year… and who doesn’t love a lively volleyball competition?
