Alpha Gamma Delta – Lambda Alpha Chapter | Senior 2017

Today we have two beautiful AGD sisters senior photoshoots! Jamie & Gabrielle both initiated during their freshman year at St. Joseph’s College. They are members of the Lambda Alpha chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta. Their chapter is the first international sorority that joined the campus, and has only been active on the campus since 2012. The Lambda Alpha chapter was the 187th chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta to be installed. Although they are a fledgling chapter they have received their foundations Jewel Chapter award every year since they were established for their philanthropic dedication in consistently raising over $2,000 annually.

Jamie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Child Study and Speech. She was even the President of the Child Study Club. During her time on campus she devoted a lot of her energy and efforts into making a difference in her community. Along with creating lifelong friendships, those charitable endeavors are among her most cherished memories of her time at St. Joseph’s College. It is only fitting that the offices she held fit perfectly with the things she loved most. Those offices include Vice President of Campus Relations, Vice President Member Development, and Membership Coordinator. Yeah, you could say she was a tab bit busy!

Gabrielle is quite the academic and studied for a double major in Criminal Justice & English with a minor in Psychology. Yep, we’re impressed! When she first initiated into she considered herself to be more reserved and shy. She is thankful for her time in the house because she was able to create bonds with the other girls and gain confidence to take on more leadership roles and accomplish her goals. Some of the leadership roles she held within the house were Ritual Coordinator & Alumnae Coordinator. Gabrielle was also active within the Panhellenic Association with positions as the Director of Finance and the Panhellenic Judicial Committee. Outside of her commitments there she also spent time with the American Red Cross Club as their Activities Coordinator and Secretary and was a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success and Dance Club!

Both Jamie & Gabrielle’s favorite events that their chapter hosted was Dancing with an Alpha Gam! They have an awesome lineup of participants. They have basketball players dancing hip hop, track stars performing to latin music. They strut their stuff and the night is filled with laughter, some impressive… and perhaps hilarious.. dance moves. We can definitely understand why that would be the most fun philanthropy event of the year!
