LIZA • UNIVERSITY OF NORTH TEXAS
Pi Beta Phi – Epsilon Chapter | Senior 2017
Spring is here and all of the incredible college seniors are beginning to make their way across the stage to accept the diploma they have worked so tirelessly for since their freshman year. Which means we have so many pretty & fun Senior photoshoots pouring into our inbox! Eek! We can’t wait to start sharing these with y’all! To kick things off we’re headed south to Denton, Texas where Liza is attending school at the University of North Texas.
UNT has had an active Greek Life community since 1952 and is continuously growing. Liza found a home at the Texas Epsilon chapter of Pi Beta Phi, which has been a part of the campus Greek System since 1971. Prior to the Texas Epsilon chapters founding, the UNT chapter was originally known as Omicron. In 1975, Pi Beta Phi extended a charter invitation to the ladies of Omicron to officially join their nationally recognized Panhellenic sorority. Just shy of a year after the formal invitation was offered, 30 Omicron women officially initiated into the Texas Epsilon chapter of Pi Beta Phi on January 28th, 1976. It was a dream come true for this thriving sisterhood! What an incredible history, we love this rich story.
Business & Marketing like a Boss!
Now, nearly fourty years after that charter was forged, Liza has been able to be a part of the legacy at this home. She had her sisters by her side during the best collegiate years and has so many memories of lively nights of movie marathons with her best friends. The PiPhi girls focus on their academic goals, with many study sessions in the upstairs living room, Liza graduated with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing. While she was committed to her studies she made sure to find time to serve on the Leadership Nominating Committee and the External Relations Committee. And that was just inside the sisterhood! On campus Liza could often be found serving within the American Marketing Association as well as the Sports Marketing Association! With so much passion we are so thrilled to see her go out and soar as an alumna.

Y’all, she’s a nationally published photographer and loves working with both college and high school seniors. She and her husband have 2 kids, just think how thrilled she’ll be for their senior photoshoots – although, that’s quite a long ways off! When she isn’t busy with her family or spending her time with seniors, she likes to relax by finding her fashion styles at TJMaxx (our favorite too!). This is great! I love how you tell a little bit of their story as well as where they went to school! Very different from other senior sessions I have read about before!
