Alpha Chi Omega – Theta Lambda Chapter | Senior 2017

What better way to celebrate your college graduation than by having a Senior Photoshoot… with your Best Friend!?! We’re pretty sure there isn’t a better way – and you’re totally going to agree after you see Meghan & Lizzy’s adorable Clemson inspired photos! Both of the girls are sisters of Alpha Chi Omega and initiated into the Theta Lambda Chapter at Clemson University. Meghan has a few years on Lizzy though. Lizzy didn’t discover the amazing home until her Junior year, while Meghan found her way their during Rush her Sophomore year.

Meghan is excited to be graduating with a B.A. in English with a minor in Business Administration. During her years at the AXO home she had a blast creating memories within the sisterhood; but, perhaps the most exciting was when she learned she was actually an Alpha Chi Legacy! While balancing her double academic schedule she spent her Junior as the Contributing Editor in Chief for the Clemson Odyssey. When she wasn’t busy with the Odyssey she was also interning for a non-profit organization, Coaches 4 Character. Senior year Meghan had the pleasure of serving as the VP of Philanthropy for her chapter in the fall, she was honored to be able to help host her favorite event during the fall – the Walk-A-Mile event on the campus Quad. This philanthropic event is a team relay with participants wearing high heels in order to simulate “walking a mile in the shoes of a victim of domestic violence”. Meghan was involved in gathering teams to participate as well as behind the scenes organization.

Although Lizzy enjoyed the Walk-A-Mile event, her personal favorite philanthropic endeavor was definitely the Chillin on Carillon to support Safe Harbor and the fight against domestic abuse. For this event the sorority invites a band to perform at a location on campus – Carillon Gardens. There is food, photo booths, entertainment, and music during the event their raise money and awareness for victims of domestic violence. Lizzy graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Parks Rec Tourism Management- Travel and Tourism. (We know who we’re contacting for our next trip!) Her favorite AXO memories range from living with her roommates, Meg & Jess, to winning the Natty! She spent a lot of time on campus and was involved in promotional videos for the Annual Clemson Give Day. She & Megan both had the honor of serving as an intern for Coaches 4 Character,  which teaches at-risk-youth in the Upstate the importance of a strong education and good character.
