Sigma Chi Marries his Tri Delt Sweetheart

Not only are Luke & Shawn College Sweethearts, they are actually High School Sweethearts too! Ever since they first met in the library during high school, the two have been inseparable. Shawn is incredibly joyful and has a smile that lights up a room. Having been her companion for so many years, Luke knew precisely how to propose to his best friend. He had her take a walk down memory lane with a scavenger hunt that led her to six of the most memorable and meaningful locations during their relationship. Her last stop was at a pond, which Luke had lit with candlelight and was waiting for her at the end of the path with a ring and one very important question.

On their wedding day, the couple wished to have a traditional ceremony with Luke seeing her for the first time as she walked down the aisle. Shawn was overcome with emotion as her father walked her towards her future husband, not only out of excitement about their union, but also the sheer joy of having her dad by her side. In the months leading to the ceremony, the family was unsure if he would be able to walk her down the aisle. There wasn’t a dry eye in the church as the two made their way to the alter – except for Luke, who was beaming at his soon to be wife.

Both Tri Delt & Sigma Chi have elements of yellow within them, so the couple knew it was the perfect way to honor their college years by making the color a big part of their day. How cute and unique are Shawn’s bridesmaids dresses? The fun and flirty yellow and white pattern is perfection for a hot July day. She gifted her ladies with Kate Spade gold glitter earrings to pair with their dresses and as a tribute to their sorority years. Shawn had 4 of her Tri Delta sisters as bridesmaids and Luke asked 8 of his Sigma Chi fraternity brothers to stand by his side.

Pearl Bracelets For the Tri Delts

We love the way that Shawn honored all of her sorority sisters at the wedding, not only the ones in her bridal party. Girls were greeted with this sweet sign and a bowl of pearl bracelets upon entering the wedding requesting that they wear a bracelet in honor of their sisterhood. The best part about the bracelet is that her sisters are able to cherish the jewelry for years to come and look back at the day with fond memories.
