Sigma Alpha | Engagement
Love is in the air in Middle Tennessee! Mia, a Sigma Alpha at Middle Tennessee State University, shares her engagement photos with her sweet fiance, Justin. The two will be getting married this December at the First Baptist Church in Woodbury, Tennessee. Sigma Alpha is an agricultural sorority which only makes sense that she would be marrying a 3rd generation farmer! The two met while attending school at MTSU. Now, with wedding planning in full swing Justin is helping is family at the farm & Mia just graduated this spring with her degree.
We love a good proposal and theirs is one full of planning mixed with some unexpected real life moments. Justin and his best friend and come up with the perfect way to surprise Mia for the proposal. They had a plan in place when Justin’s sister was unexpectedly rushed to the hospital with complications with her pregnancy. Mia was 3 hours away from the hospital and immediately rushed to her car and began to drive in their direction. Thankfully, the doctors were amazing and delivered the baby safely and both mom and baby are fine. But, that left Mia 3 hours away from her home with nothing but the clothes she had been wearing to class. Justin knew he was planning to propose and wanted her to love the photos taken so he encouraged her to buy something nice to wear out on a double date with his best friend & his wife. The 4 of them decided to drive around and view some of the gorgeous lookouts around the Smoky Mountains. to watch the sunset before dinner. Mia was about to walk back to the car when she heard Justin call out “Wait, I have a question first.” She turned around to find him on one knee digging a ring box out of his boot – ha! So Southern! Of course his question was met with a resounding Yes! as their friends photographed the moment for them.
